Kumpfy Shoes offers a courtesy pick-up/drop-off service for climbing shoes, hiking boots, jackets and any other items that need fixin’! Items can be dropped off at the Norseman Outdoor Specialist in Calgary and will be taken to Kumpfy Shoes for resoling and repair in Canmore. During COVID-19 physical distancing rules apply so just call them from outside the store during their business hours.
Remember to include the Pick Up/Drop Off Form with items dropped off at the Norseman.
Once your items arrive at Kumpfy Shoes, you will be contacted to confirm repair details and answer any questions you may have. When the repair is complete, you will receive another phone call to confirm drop-off details. Your credit card will be charged at that time.
Pick-up and drop-off times will vary. If your repair is time sensitive please drop your shoes off at Kumpfy Shoes & Repair in Canmore or call us directly at 403-609-2292.
Please note that items can be picked up/dropped off at either location.
Repaired items must be picked up within 7 days of drop-off from the Norseman.

We gladly accept repair items that are mailed to the shop or dropped off by friends/family. We will call you when the package arrives to verify details, give time/cost estimates and answer any questions. Please use the attached form when sending items to us; Kumpfy Shoes Repair Repair Form
Our store location accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Debit and of course Cash. Kumpfy Shoes Online currently accepts Visa, Mastercard and American Express, but not international credit cards at this time.
Kumpfy Shoes offers curbside/in-store pick up if you are in the Bow Valley. For online shoppers, we are happy to offer free shipping anywhere in Canada on all orders over $160 Canadian (before taxes). Free shipping cannot be combined with other discounts at this time. Orders placed with us will be shipped within 1-2 business days via Canada Post or UPS. Tracking details will be emailed to you so you can follow your purchase as it snakes its way across the country. Orders are insured in case of damage or loss. Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. Yes, we can ship to the USA and other countries! International shipping may be subject to additional duties, custom charges and/or taxes which will be the responsibility of the customer.
We get that ordering shoes online can be a difficult task. So make sure you check out the sizing charts to help finalize your order. If you need to return or exchange an item please refer to our policies below;
- If your purchased items arrive damaged or incomplete, please contact us ASAP by calling 403-609-2292 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
- We accept returns within 15 days of the purchase date. Returns mailed back outside of the 15 day window will be deemed ineligible for return and will be sent back to the receiver’s address at their cost.
- The cost of return shipping will be at the customer’s expense with the exception of warranties or defective items.
- Only new, 100% unused items will be accepted for return. The items must be returned in the condition you received it and with the original box and/or packaging, including manufacturer tags where applicable. Please be courteous with your returns.
If you feel that your item is eligible for a warranty consideration please contact us at email@example.com. Warranties due to defects in materials or workmanship may be covered by the manufacturer. Please provide as much detail as possible in your email. Include the order number, purchase date, product brand, and a brief description of the issue. Most importantly please attach photos of the item including the defective area. Requests must have pictures included in order to be processed. Warranties do not include damage due to normal wear and tear and/or accidents. Keep in mind some vendors will require you to deal with them directly on your claim.
Sorry, we don’t have time to write newsletters or maintain a blog so we won’t be stuffing your inbox with email notifications. However, we will do our best to post fun and interesting tidbits on social media so you can read them at your leisure and pass them along to your friends. Sale announcements and new product alerts will be emailed out time to time.

However, one could say that this statement is largely irrelevant these days and you should really be more worried about your Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, Google, TikTok accounts, etc. Just saying. Our shop is hosted on WordPress. They provide us with the E-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through GoDaddy data storage, databases and the general WordPress application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
